Legislation was introduced in North Dakota this week modeled on the Kelsey Smith Act. We are working to obtain the bill number and wording of the bill. Representative Lois Delmore introduced the bill. See the links below for more information:

With the end of the 111th Congress the Kelsey Smith Act died in committee. Representative Todd Tiahrt from Kansas was the sponsor of the bill and worked very hard to get it passed. Rep. Tiahrt ran for the U.S. Senate during the election cycle and was not successful so he will not be there to start the process again in the 112th Congress. There is good news coming however, so check back often for the latest updates.

The Kelsey Smith Foundation will be on the road for the next couple of months. In October, Greg and Missey will be featured speakers at the Montana Crime Prevention Conference.
